This is a Japanese-style koto piece that brings to mind a scene of eating kaiseki cuisine while meditating in an upscale Japanese restaurant.
The song is full of austerity, evoking a sense of history and culture.
Incidentally, this piece uses a scale called "Shin kokin Scale".
